Welcome Message

Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committee, I have great pleasure in inviting you to the 2nd Asian Congress on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) to be held on March 8 and 9, 2014 in Tokyo, Japan. The congress will be held jointly with the 5th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of ADHD.

The 1st Asian Congress on ADHD was held in Seoul, South Korea in 2012. It was a great success and marked an important first step in promoting ADHD research and care in Asia. We are proud to announce the 2nd congress in Japan and to provide what we hope will be a valuable opportunity for professionals from Asia and beyond to share their experiences to the benefit of patients with ADHD and their families.

The main topic of the 2nd congress is “What is the ultimate goal of ADHD treatment?” Leading researchers and clinicians in the field will be invited from overseas to explain the advances they have made in both basic and clinical research and to share vital information on clinical practice associated with ADHD. This congress is sure to be an excellent platform for promoting the basic and clinical science behind ADHD. Further information is available online, and those who would like to participate can also register online. We look forward to welcoming you to this exciting event in Tokyo.

Sincerely yours,

Hironobu Ichikawa, M.D., Ph.D.
President, The 2nd Asian Congress on ADHD
Director General, The Japanese Society of ADHD
